Watch Club
London, dreaming of California
Mulholland Watch Club was born from late night conversations in the Californian desert, staring at the stars, with a beautiful glass of red wine. The concept, nurtured for years, as appreciation for all things horological grew, through the stories of people met, and places visited.
At Mulholland, we believe the most compelling stories about watches are told not only by the brands who make them, the custodians of horological heritage, the collectors, as well as passionate enthusiasts, most importantly by the people who wear them.
We celebrate the art of mechanical watchmaking — from complications, to finishing, to movements and escapements. We geek out so you don't have to geek out alone.
Our watch meets aren't restricted to set locations. Our members connect over shared obsessions — trading knowledge, comparing references, and finding their people.
Born under the California sky. Inspired by Joshua Tree, the Mojave, and the endless highways that connect coast to canyon. Wear your watch. Drive your road.

Welcome to a club founded on the principles of community, equality, and a shared passion for watches. Our founders came together not just to create a brand, but to build a welcoming space where everyone who appreciates the art of watchmaking can connect and share their passion.
We believe that the true value of a watch isn't defined by its price tag, but by the stories it tells, the aesthetics it embodies, the craftsmanship it showcases, and the joy it brings to its owner.
Whenever we travel, we find that watches connect us to new places and people, leading us to unique experiences and often like-minded enthusiasts. If that resonates with you, welcome — join us on the journey and help us build something truly special.

Members typically hear about Mulholland gatherings via email, with venues kept deliberately discreet, since attendees often bring valuable timepieces. We carefully curate our watch meets, often around themes, places, events, or ideas that we think members will find curious, interesting, or simply fun.
For us as founders, the sense of community matters most. Being able to meet like-minded enthusiasts and experience watches we might never personally own is a huge part of the appeal. Mulholland currently has no membership fee, and most events are free to attend, reflecting the inclusive ethos we care deeply about.
Whether you arrive with a single Seiko or several Pateks, you will be treated equally at the table. The emphasis is firmly on shared enthusiasm rather than status.

Mulholland will consult with watch brands, offering marketing and social media expertise, as well as hosting events to launch new timepieces. Even so, our focus remains on passion rather than profit — a spirit rooted in a genuine love of watches.
Mulholland Watch Club is more than just a brand; it's a movement. Members get access to a curated world of apparel, accessories, insightful reading material, and the latest in horological trends. It's a place where watch enthusiasts, from collectors to watchmakers, connect over their passion and enjoy unique events and experiences.
The concept for Mulholland was born from a road trip that carried us from San Francisco, through Carmel-by-the-Sea and Big Sur, down to Santa Barbara and Los Angeles (with a memorable stop to acquire a 1940s Gallet in LA), before continuing on to Palm Springs, Joshua Tree National Park, Las Vegas, and finally tracing the vast expanse of the Grand Canyon. It was, by any measure, unforgettable.
What we share is a deep appreciation for the style, craftsmanship, and storytelling inherent in watchmaking — an appreciation that soon became something more. It was clear we needed to find a way to engage more meaningfully with what had long been a personal fascination.
That fascination began early. At just 11 and 12 years old, my cousin Bill and I, while on a trip to Scotland, purchased two identical Casio watches — an unassuming beginning that would quietly mark the start of something enduring. Years later, it was further shaped by an 18k gold Omega De Ville — something of a Frankenstein piece, truth be told — left to me by my Spanish grandfather, Cristóbal.

When we met, María was firmly an Apple Watch devotee. Today, its whereabouts are uncertain, having been replaced by an eclectic and ever-evolving collection of timepieces. Her enthusiasm now mirrors mine entirely. So much so that she selects her watch first and her outfit second — often handing it to me, lipstick in hand, to change the strap as we make our way out the door.
We believe that true watch enthusiasts are united not only by objects, but by the stories, memories, and personal milestones those objects represent — stories that deserve to be shared.
If you love watches, you understand. And if you don't, we wouldn't think any less of you.

Goods made for the collector who doesn't sit still. Limited runs, quality over quantity.

Along the way we've been fortunate to meet some truly remarkable people — collectors, contributors, supporters, and passionate voices from across the watch community. Here we shine a light on their works: the books and expert opinions from some of the most knowledgeable minds in horology. Their perspectives have shaped how we think and feel about the 'stories' we carry on our wrists.

We believe the most compelling stories about watches are told not only by the brands who make them, the collectors, but most importantly by the people who wear them.
We'll be in conversation with brands, ambassadors, influential voices in watch collecting, style and culture, or as we call them 'keepers of time', as well as passionate enthusiasts from every walk of life. At Mulholland Watch Club, all are equally valued.

Buying the right watch should be exciting — not overwhelming.
Request ConsultationWith thousands of options across new and pre-owned markets, shifting prices, endless opinions, and varying levels of quality, choosing well can quickly become unnecessarily complicated.
At Mulholland Watch Club, we offer a private consultation service designed to bring clarity, confidence, and enjoyment to the process.
Through a discreet one-to-one conversation, we take the time to understand your taste, priorities, intended use, and budget. We then curate a considered shortlist of three to five watches genuinely worth your attention, including a wild card option.
Each recommendation is selected with purpose — balancing design, wearability, heritage, value, and long-term enjoyment.
Whether you are buying your first serious watch, marking an important milestone, refining an existing collection, or searching for a gift, we provide independent guidance tailored entirely to you.
"Leaving the decision one of taste rather than anything else."
Consultation Fee
A flat consultation fee of £200 applies. For watches over £20,000, we offer bespoke pricing on a fixed-fee basis — please enquire for details.
Why Clients Use Us
Because the right watch is rarely the most obvious one.
Our role is to help you avoid expensive mistakes, cut through noise, and discover pieces that suit you properly — not simply what is most visible or heavily marketed.
